Wake up, people! — You're being HARVESTED, not governed! — Part 1

Before getting to the two most debilitating and perniciously unsustainable societal models/paradigms I'm going to address in today's blog, 1) fluctuating mediums of exchange1 and 2) usury2 (aka "interest"), let's check out a couple of very wise relevant quotes:

“The men that American people admire most extravagantly are the most daring liars; the men they detest the most violently are those who try to tell them the truth.” — H.L. Mencken

"The government consists of a gang of men exactly like you and me. They have, taking one with another, no special talent for the business of government; they have only a talent for getting and holding office." — H. L. Mencken

"Government is the great fiction through which everybody endeavors to live at the expense of everybody else." "For now, as formerly, every one is, more or less, for profiting by the labors of others. No one would dare to profess such a sentiment; he even hides it from himself; and then what is done? A medium is thought of; Government is applied to, and every class in its turn comes to it, and says, "You, who can take justifiably and honestly, take from the public, and we will partake." Alas! Government is only too much disposed to follow this diabolical advice, for it is composed of ministers and officials - of men, in short, who, like all other men, desire in their hearts, and always seize every opportunity with eagerness, to increase their wealth and influence. Government is not slow to perceive the advantages it may derive from the part which is entrusted to it by the public. It is glad to be the judge and the master of the destinies of all; it will take much, for then a large share will remain for itself; it will multiply the number of its agents; it will enlarge the circle of its privileges; it will end by appropriating a ruinous proportion." - Frédéric Bastiat

“The laws of a country ought to be the standard of equity and calculated to impress on the minds of the people the moral as well as the legal obligations of political justice. But tender laws, of any kind, operate to destroy morality, and to dissolve by the pretence of law what ought to be the principle of law to support, reciprocal justice between man and man; and the punishment of a member who should move for such a law ought to be DEATH.” — Opinion on paper money, as expressed in 1776 by Thomas Paine, the author of “Common Sense” and "Age of Reason".

"The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; the second is war. Both bring a temporary prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunists." — Ernest Hemingway

"When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes... Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain." - Napoleon Bonaparte, 1815

"[D]emocracy gives [the beatification of mediocrity] a certain appearance of objective and demonstrable truth. The mob man, functioning as citizen, gets a feeling that he is really important to the world — that he is genuinely running things. Out of his maudlin herding after rogues and mountebanks there comes to him a sense of vast and mysterious power—which is what makes archbishops, police sergeants, the grand goblins of the Ku Klux and other such magnificoes happy. And out of it there comes, too, a conviction that he is somehow wise, that his views are taken seriously by his betters — which is what makes United States Senators, fortune tellers and Young Intellectuals happy. Finally, there comes out of it a glowing consciousness of a high duty triumphantly done which is what makes hangmen and husbands happy." — H. L. Mencken

'Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the Field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.' — Woodrow Wilson, The New Freedom (1913)

“I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world, no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.” — Woodrow Wilson (This quote sounds great, but see also "The unhappiness of Woodrow Wilson", by Andrew Leonard) (Wilson was the only president to earn a Ph.D. His doctoral dissertation was titled "Congressional Government" — JRW)

"There is a small circle of men who control the world's finance. Each member, before initiation, knows its religion to be reward for friends and extermination of enemies. Once a man is within the magic circle...punishment for disloyalty is sure and terrible, and in no corner of the Earth can he escape it, nor can any power on Earth protect him from it.” "These men of the 'magic circle' who 'exterminate their enemies' are 'at the receiving end of the greatest information bureau in the world.'" — Thomas Lawson, Everybody's Magazine "Frenzied Finance" 1904

"Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. Our minds are molded, our tastes are formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of." — Walter Bernays Propaganda 1928

" I think the subject which will be of most importance politically is mass psychology....Various results will soon be arrived at: that the influence of home is obstructive....although this science will be diligently studied, it will be rigidly confined to the governing class. The populace will not be allowed to know how its convictions were generated. When the technique has been perfected, every government that has been in charge of education for a generation will be able to control its subjects securely without the need of armies or policemen....Educational propaganda, with government help, could achieve this result in a generation. There are, however, two powerful forces opposed to such a policy: one is religion; the other is nationalism....A scientific world society cannot be stable unless there is a world government." — Bertrand Russell 1958

In addition to speaking to future generations and on behalf of the spiritual and intellectual potential of the human species,I speak here primarily to labor, to the "Makers", to society's "wagon pullers", to the "hoi polloi", to the naive and gullible huddled masses yearning to breath free, to the "ordinary" salt-of-the-earth working people with traditional Golden Rule moral and family values which have not been 100% destroyed by the Goebbelsian propaganda of the "government" politicians, "government" media, "government" schools, "government" (501(c)(3)) churches. You are the individuals the scumbag3 debt-based money masters truly believe are too stupid to catch on to their corrupt system for stealing your labor. You are the ones the fascist4  neo-feudalists are quite certain they are a higher form of life than. I am one of you, and yet I managed to learn and assemble the information on this website. If I can understand it, you can understand it — and start making your life decisions accordingly. You may experience what is called "cognitive dissonance". You may need to undo some of the brainwashing instilled in you and your parents by the "government" politicians, "government" media, "government" schools, "government" (501(c)(3)) churches. That won't be too hard because the truth is almost always simple once you see it.

The first thing you need to understand is that, as an individual human soul, you are endowed (not by "government" but) by an Almighty Creator with the inalienable natural and moral rights of self-ownership, self-determination, self-defense, and to be free from coercion (aka "life, liberty, pursuit of happiness"), especially coercion specifically designed to steal your labor (and/or money) and give it to others.

The second thing you need to understand is that ALL politicians5 are by definition and functional necessity liars, which is why coercion "Power Over the Other" government is inherently Golden-Rule violative, inherently evil, and inevitably corrupting. That's a simple self-evident fact which the brightest spiritual and intellectual lights of our species (e.g. such as Jesus of Nazareth, J.R.R. Tolkien, Godwin, Proudhon, Stirner, Spooner, Rothbard, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Thoreau, and other individualists and anarchists, both Christian and Jewish) have tried to teach the rest of us for millenia.

The third thing you need to understand is that, purely for base personal financial gain, the entire establishment of the "government" politicians, "government" media, "government" schools, "government" (501(c)(3)) churches, their friends, families, colleages, patrons, apologists and fellow travellers are dedicated to promoting and defending an (their) established social, political and economic order which deliberately systematically destroys reciprocal Golden-Rule justice between individuals (between "man and man" in Thomas Paine's words) and robs you of your labor and the produce of your labor.

Stevens' Conviction is Thrown Out, Prosecutors Face Criminal Probe - "On Tuesday, Judge Sullivan said that in his 25 years on the bench, he had never seen anything approaching the “mishandling and misconduct” perpetrated by the government in the case against Stevens, who was convicted on corruption charges in October and narrowly lost his Senate re-election bid the following month. A new team of Justice lawyers assigned to handle the Stevens case — Paul O’Brien, David Jaffe, and William Stuckwisch — were preparing for an April 15 status hearing when they found notes from two prosecutors taken during an interview in April 2008 of the government’s chief witness, Bill Allen, a longtime Stevens friend and wealthy oilman in Alaska. Four attorneys and an FBI agent were at the meeting, Stevens’ lead defense attorney Brendan Sullivan Jr. said in court. The Williams & Connolly partner did not name them. The notes contradicted testimony Allen gave at trial regarding the value of renovations on Stevens’ chalet and to what extent Stevens was billed for the work. Stevens, who maintained he paid for all the work at his home for which he received bills, was accused of failing to report more than $250,000 in home repairs and gifts on his Senate disclosure forms. The new information could have been used to undercut Allen’s credibility at trial." - OK, so all politicians are by definition and functional necessity liars, that doesn't mean that corrupt prosecutors should not be crucified for DELIBERATELY trying to railroad somebody. They should. The same goes for corrupt judges who, as Antonin Scalia pointed out, lie about the meaning of the U.S. Constitution. Both prosecutorial immunity and judicial immunity (see also Stump v. Sparkman) should be abolished, root and branch. They facilitate only arrogance of power and corruption, NEVER due process and equal protection of law. - JRW

Our Problem is Immorality, by George Mason University economics professor Walter E. Williams - TownHall.com - "Unfortunately, there is no way out of our immoral quagmire. The reason is that now that the U.S. Congress has established the principle that one American has a right to live at the expense of another American, it no longer pays to be moral. People who choose to be moral and refuse congressional handouts will find themselves losers. They'll be paying higher and higher taxes to support increasing numbers of those paying lower and lower taxes."

America Becoming Weimar Republic - AOL Video - "The U.S. economy is in an intensifying inflationary recession that eventually will evolve into a hyperinflationary great depression. Hyperinflation could be experienced as early as 2010, if not before, and likely no more than a decade down the road. The U.S. government and Federal Reserve already have committed the system to this course through the easy politics of a bottomless pocketbook, the servicing of big-moneyed special interests, and gross mismanagement. The U.S. has no way of avoiding a financial Armageddon. Bankrupt sovereign states most commonly use the currency printing press as a solution to not having enough money to cover their obligations. The alternative would be for the U.S. to renege on its existing debt and obligations, a solution for modern sovereign states rarely seen outside of governments overthrown in revolution, and a solution with no happier ending than simply printing the needed money . . ."

I told him why I thought it was more than justified: Twitter is, more than anything, a search engine. I told him what I thought of Twitter as a micro-blogging service: it’s a collection of emotional grunts. But it’s wonderful nonetheless. And enough people are hooked on it that Twitter has reached critical mass. If something big is going on in the world, you can get information about it from Twitter."

It's enough to make a billy goat puke (and they'll eat anything)! I despise all lying5 political scum3 for standing in the way of individualism and the moral, spiritual and intellectual progress of the human species. — JRW

Inside Obama's bank CEOs meeting, by Eamon Javers - Politico.com - "'These are complicated companies,” one CEO said. Offered another: “We’re competing for talent on an international market.' But President Barack Obama wasn’t in a mood to hear them out. He stopped the conversation and offered a blunt reminder of the public’s reaction to such explanations. 'Be careful how you make those statements, gentlemen. The public isn’t buying that.' 'My administration,' the president added, 'is the only thing between you and the pitchforks.'"

CEO blather after their meeting with Obama:

Beyond AIG: A bill to let Big Government set your salary, by Byron York - Washington Examiner - "The new legislation, the 'Pay for Performance Act of 2009,' would impose government controls on the pay of all employees — not just top executives — of companies that have received a capital investment from the U.S. government. It would, like the tax measure, be retroactive, changing the terms of compensation agreements already in place. And it would give Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner extraordinary power to determine the pay of thousands of employees of American companies." - QUESTION: Do any of you well-intended people out there in cyberspace who voted slobbering, amoral, narcissistic, control-freak morons like Barney Frank into public office actually sincerely believe in your heart of hearts that the chaotic societal model of everybody competing against everybody else for political clout with which to try to manipulate the government into giving you a redistribution-based "something-for-nothing" raise totally unrelated to productivity is actually superior to the free-market business model of self-sufficiency-oriented entrepreneurial-minded individuals being more productive in the private sector and producing goods and services useful to human beings with which to generate a REAL cause-and-effect EARNED raise? You know, this is just . . . I'll sell my apartment. I'll sell my condominium. I'm going to get out of there totally, 'cause this is just absurd, and it's ridiculous — and it isn't going to work. It's punishing the achievers for the mistakes and the lack of discipline on the part of a bunch of corrupt politicians that have run that city and state into the ground for I don't know how many years — and I, for one, am not going to take the blame for it."

Russia backs return to Gold Standard to solve financial crisis - Telegraph.co.uk - "It is widely argued that the financial excesses and extreme debt leverage of the last quarter century would have been impossible - or less likely - under the discipline of gold. Russia is a major gold producer with large untapped reserves of ore so it has a clear interest in promoting the idea. The Kremlin has already instructed the central bank of gradually raise the gold share of foreign reserves to 10pc. Failed Life For Killer 'Coward' - New York Post - Arguably the most important thing about this story is to observe the wannabe-clever political demonization engaged in by Binghamton Police Chief, Joseph Zikuski, who basks in a nice fat, cushy, well-paying, non-sustainable "gubmint" job with a great pension — its impossible for everybody to have that kind of non-productive job, which is precisely why it is economically unsustainable — as he mocks the mental problems of the deceased accused, Jiverly Wong, as a subtle form of "only cops should be allowed to have guns" propaganda. The "he must have been a coward . . . he was heavily armed and had a lot of ammunition" logic line of Zikuski's wannabe-clever propaganda is quite fascinating: if the killer had not killed himself, he would have been a "coward" for not having the guts to kill himself. But since he did kill himself, he's a "coward" for not opting for a shoot out with the cops. Check out the talk string on this story to see how the readers are reacting. THAT is what I find the most interesting. — JRW

1. Regarding "secular" resources on the subject, America's Founders (e.g. most notably Roger Sherman in his essay, "A Caveat Against Injustice, or, An Inquiry into the Evils of a Fluctuating Medium of Exchange") wrote against fluctuating mediums of exchange, and actually wrote the Constitution in such a way as to render fluctuating mediums of exchange impossible. Unfortunately, a revisionist-history Ulysses-S.-Grant-packed Supreme Court majority provably lied about the intent of the Founders regarding their opinions as to what should, and/or lawfully could, be used for mediums of exchange in the United States. In spite of this proof of intent, today's lying judges continue to promote the blatant lie and throw American citizens in jail simply for speaking out bravely and trying to expose the truth about that lie. Of course to engage in this overt constitutional treason, the lying judges have to completely ignore the Golden Rule, John Milton's "Areopagitica" and John Stuart Mill's "On Liberty". May all such lying judges, absent sincere confession and repentance, roast in the hottest parts of hell! If there is to be a death penalty in the United States, in my opinion it should be first applied to lying judges who, on a constantly ongoing basis, continue to subvert the historically provable intent of the U.S. Constitution for the express purposes of destroying "reciprocal justice between man and man" on behalf of a transnational cabal of their fascist bankster buddies. The reason I hold this blunt view is because, as a libertarian-leaning Anarcho-Christian, I seriously believe that the deliberate systemic "legal" destruction of reciprocal justice between individuals for base personal gain is one of the most horrendous anti-intellectual, anti-knowledge, anti-life, anti-human-potential crimes that can be perpetrated against humanity. In view of all of the millions of people who have been killed as a result of this horrendous crime, spiritually and intellectually I consider it to be prima facie Golden-Rule-violative on its face, and both misanthropic and genocidal in nature — truly worthy of the death penalty if any crime ever could morally be.

Regarding "religious" resources on the evils of subject of fluctuating mediums of exchange, see such Bible verses as Le 19:35-36, Pr 11:1, Pr 20:10, Mic 6:10-12, Hag 1:6.

2. See such "secular" resources as "Of Usury" by Francis Bacon, Thomas Aquinas: On Usury, "Usury Enslaves" and "Freedom From Usury", by Jason Hommel, "Usury Project" selected bibliography" by D.W. Skubik.

Regarding "religious" resources on the subject of usury, see such Bible verses as Ex 22:25, Le 25:35-37, De 23:19-20, Ne 5:7-12, Ps 15:5, Pr 28:8, Is 24:1-2, Jer 15:10, Ez 18:4-9, Mt 25:27, Lu 19:23.

3. Regarding the words "scum" and "scumbag" as an epithet used in self-defensive demonization against select individuals: Hey, what can I say? It is a long-proven statistical fact that negative political ads work. And since the so-called "left" uses lies, half-truths, demonization and the politics of personal destruction as standard political strategies, failure to engage in a little "turn about is fair play" merely makes it easier for the various assortments of disordered illiterate fascist control freaks to destroy individual freedom. As I said on my blog homepage, "Some folks just think they're smarter than everybody else, a higher form of life than everybody else. So, instead of engaging in good faith discussions about specific ideas, they simply resort to deception, sophistry, unspecificity, undefined terms, manipulation, demonization and the politics of personal destruction AS A MATTER OF PREFERRED STRATEGY to get their little spoiled-brat control-freak way. Such behavior is anathema to intellectual honesty, an open mind, a kind heart, free inquiry, the freedoms of thought and speech, and the free flow of information. It MUST be eternally warred against if humankind is to entertain a realistic hope of ever reaching its full spiritual and intellectual potential." To avoid the violence which is directly related to repression of free speech and the crushing of polite and civil discourse, I believe it is essential to engage in strategic tit-for-tat with wannabe-clever manipulative demonizers by openly calling them what they are: the anti-freedom, anti-Golden-Rule scum of the earth (aka "scumbags"). Accordingly, it doesn't bother me in the least to do so. No less brilliant a person than Jesus of Nazareth himself referred to the scumbags of his day as "hypocrites", "blind guides", "vipers" and "whitewashed sepulchres". To paraphrase Ann Coulter, Jesus was not some moron driving around in a Volvo with a "be nice to people" bumper sticker on it. So having read The Art of Political War and Other Radical Pursuits by David Horowitz I don't have any problem with calling "scum" what it is.

4. Fascism = private economic enterprise under centralized governmental control. — Webster’s New World Dictionary of the American Language, Second College Edition. I would expand that definition: fascism = private economic enterprise under centralized governmental control, in which “government” is used as a “business” tool by private interests. Another way of articulating the same idea is: fascism = private ownership of government.

John Flynn defined the word thusly: “Fascism is a system of social organization in which the political state is a dictatorship supported by a political elite and in which the economic society is an autarchial capitalism, enclosed and planned, in which the government assumes responsibility for creating adequate purchasing power through the instrumentality of national debt and in which militarism is adopted as a great economic project for creating work as well as a great romantic project in the service of the imperialist state.” [As We Go Marching, p. 161, 2nd ed.] — John T. Flynn (1882-1964) American Journalist and Author

"Fascist" = scumbag2 "businessman" who uses the police powers of government (via bribes, special-interest legislation, holding office himself, etc) to corruptly increase profits and eliminate or reduce competition for his (or her) business/es beyond what they would be in a genuinely fair and free marketplace comprised of willing sellers and willing buyers.

MANY Democrats and Republicans are fascists, especially the ones in Congress. To paraphrase Jesse Ventura in a conversation with Willie Nelson and Alex Jones, the DEMS and GOP are like professional wrestling: they pretend to be adversaries in public. But behind closed doors, they're good buddies, hanging out with each other, making business deals and having dinner together at fancy restaurants and at each other homes and mansions.

5. Always remember, "politics" = person or group A trying to persuade person or group B to obey the will of A, most frequently for the personal financial benefit of A and to the personal financial detriment (higher taxes) of B. That is why deception = the so-called "art" of politics. That is also why "politician" = professional deceiver, and why "political" = deception-based, or having to do with deception. Everybody is competing for political power to steal labor and money out of the "other guy's" pocket and put it in their own. Politicians get votes by promising to be all things to all people. Because that is a physical impossibility, most of their promises of necessity get broken. Because they know this in advance, they are ALL liars to one degree or another. The king is always the most corrupt person in the kingdom. In my opinion, any person who sincerely wants to be the king is criminally insane and a deadly enemy to individual freedom.
